On Saturday 15th April between 10.30 & 12.30 there will be an informal information session at the Rame Centre in West St. Millbrook.
Residents of the Rame Peninsula are invited to come along and read through copies of the Neighbourhood Plan, and have questions answered.
You can also just turn up if you have any issues with the Plan that you want clarified, or further explanation.
Neighbourhood Planning Champion George Trubody Cornwall Councillor for the Rame Peninsula, will be present to answer any questions, along with members of the Rame Peninsula Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.
We look forward to answering any questions you might have on the Plan, for any of the 5 Parishes on of the Rame Peninsula.
The Plan is currently with Cornwall Council for ‘formal consultation’.
The consultation process ends on 25th November.
An independent examiner will then be appointed. Their task is to make sure that the NDP complies with planning conditions set out within Planning Acts.
If it does, the NDP will go forward for a referendum, early in 2017.

A press release was issued to the local media on 11th November 2016.
Cornwall Council website was updated on 13th October 2016 stating;
“Following the 6 week consultation period, the representations will be collated and sent for independent examination. You may also request to be notified of the local planning authority’s decision under Regulation 19 (the outcome of the independent examination of the plan.) If the Examiner believes that the Neighbourhood Plan meets all of its requirements a Referendum will take place which will allow residents to decide whether the Neighbourhood Plan should be used by the Council to determine planning applications in the Antony, Maker with Rame, Millbrook, Sheviock and St John Parish areas”
