Improved ferry landing facilities in Cremyll area
Comments received;
A bit primative at present / if viable / Improved waiting faciliaites would be great / better quality facilities / Shelter is needed / disabled access to ferrry needs improvement / needs to accommodate poor weather conditions / to enable easier access / extended slipway / later running of ferry at weekend to access Royal William Yard / impact on local residents to be minimised / free parking to encourage ferry use
Traffic management of coaches and HGV’s across the peninsula (one-way system for such vehicles)
Comments received;
Not if it means the cliff road at Whitsand / Essential esp in summer season / better signage / do not think this is feasible – Hounster hill is a nightmare with coaches / 20 MPH in Kingsand and Cawsand / don’t like the idea of heavy traffic on the coast road / could have a negative impact on Military Road.
Improved parking and integrated transport at Cremyll
Comments received;
Parking is adequate at present / better promotion of park and ride would be good / bus not to leave BEFORE the ferry has landed!!! / nothing wrong with parking as it is / parking enforcement need improving / integrated tickets with bus, parking. Ferry venues / much needed.
